We built this because
nothing else existed.
Kon-ick and Laura tried fourteen times. They went through IVF. They held onto hope for years. In December 2025, they lost their pregnancy at six weeks. The support that should have been there wasn't.
The platform Laura had been using throughout the pregnancy didn't acknowledge what had happened. It kept sending Kon-ick tips about sex and reminders about hot water bottles while Laura was still physically going through it. The doctor's response, when told the pregnancy had ended, was a single word. "Oh." No leaflet. No signposting. No warmth.
On Boxing Day, Kon-ick started sketching out what We Are Together could be. On 2nd January 2026, they bought the domain together and got to work.

After their own loss in 2025, Kon-ick went looking online to see if anyone else had felt the same way. He found hundreds of stories. Couples feeling abandoned. Partners with no idea what to say or where to turn. People grieving because nothing in the world around them was built to hold it.
